Description

These crispy air fryer potatoes are quick, easy, and make the perfect side dish. With fluffy insides and crunchy skins, they’re ready in just 40 minutes and perfect for topping any way you like.


Ingredients

Scale

4 medium russet or Idaho potatoes, 7 ounces each, washed and dried

olive oil spray

1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt

freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Optional toppings: sour cream, Greek yogurt, butter, chili, chives, broccoli, shredded cheese


Instructions

1. Rinse and dry the potatoes thoroughly.

2. Poke holes across the surface of each potato with a fork.

3. Spray each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with half the salt.

4. Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 20 minutes.

5. Flip potatoes and cook for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.

6. Check tenderness by inserting a knife into the center.

7. Remove from the air fryer and season with the remaining salt and pepper.

8. Slice open, fluff the inside, and add desired toppings.

Notes

Try sweet potatoes as an alternative.

Add extra seasonings like garlic or paprika.

Top with cheese or herbs for variation.
