Description

A quick Caesar chicken salad packed with crispy bacon, juicy chicken, crunchy croutons, and creamy Caesar dressing. Ideal for an easy lunch or summer dinner.


Ingredients

Scale

2 tsp oil

6 rashers streaky bacon

2 chicken breasts (about 175g each), sliced lengthwise

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 heads Romaine lettuce, sliced into strips

100g croutons

4 tbsp Caesar dressing

4 tbsp shaved Parmesan

extra Caesar dressing (optional)


Instructions

1. In a large skillet, heat oil and cook bacon until crispy. Set aside.

2. Slice and season chicken. Cook in the same pan until golden and cooked through.

3. Chop bacon and chicken once slightly cooled.

4. Rinse, dry, and slice romaine into thick strips.

5. In a bowl, combine lettuce, chicken, bacon, croutons, and dressing. Toss well.

6. Divide into servings, add shaved Parmesan, and drizzle extra dressing if preferred.

Notes

Use an air fryer for a hands-free cooking method.

Prepare chicken and bacon ahead and store in the fridge.

Only assemble before serving to keep texture crisp and fresh.
