Description
Cheeseburger Pockets Recipe with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, and flaky crescent dough baked until golden.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cook onion in olive oil until soft.
3. Add ground beef and brown completely, then drain excess fat.
4. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
5. Separate crescent dough into triangles.
6. Place beef mixture and cheese onto each triangle.
7. Fold dough over filling and seal edges.
8. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
9. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Drain beef thoroughly to prevent soggy dough.
Do not overfill the pockets.
Freeze assembled unbaked pockets for later use.
