Description
Sweet and savory Cheesy Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sliders made with soft Hawaiian rolls, BBQ pulled pork, pineapple, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
1 pack Hawaiian rolls
16 oz pulled pork
8 oz crushed pineapple drained
5 slices provolone cheese
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp hot sauce
2 tsp poppy seeds
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish
2. Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally
3. Place bottom rolls into the baking dish
4. Spread pulled pork evenly across rolls
5. Add drained crushed pineapple
6. Drizzle barbecue sauce over pineapple
7. Layer provolone cheese slices
8. Place top rolls over the filling
9. Combine glaze ingredients and melt butter
10. Brush glaze over rolls and sprinkle poppy seeds
11. Bake for 25 minutes until golden and cheese melts
Notes
Drain pineapple well before adding to sliders
Mozzarella or Monterey Jack can replace provolone
Add jalapenos for extra heat if desired
