Description
These Crispy Parmesan and Melted Mozzarella Bites are a cheesy, crunchy snack perfect for dipping and sharing. Quick to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
1. Combine mozzarella and Parmesan in a bowl.
2. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls and freeze for 15–20 minutes.
3. Set up three bowls for flour, egg, and panko with seasonings.
4. Coat each frozen ball in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Repeat egg and breadcrumb step for a thicker crust.
5. Fry at 350°F for 2–3 minutes, air fry at 375°F for 8 minutes, or bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes.
6. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
Notes
Freezing the cheese balls prevents leaks during cooking.
Pair with marinara, ranch, or garlic aioli.
