Flaky salmon baked with a golden parmesan crust. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds salmon fillet, skin-on

1/3 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper

3/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs

3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Place the salmon on the sheet, skin-side down, and pat dry.

3. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

4. Spread the mixture over the top of the salmon evenly.

5. Combine Panko, parmesan, parsley, melted butter, and seasoning in another bowl.

6. Spoon the breadcrumb mix onto the salmon and press gently to form a layer.

7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

8. Serve with lemon wedges while hot.

Notes

Use gluten-free Panko if needed.

Swap parsley for dill or basil for a twist.

Add crushed nuts to the topping for extra crunch.

Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes as an alternative.
