2 tablespoons pink Hawaiian or Himalayan salt

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Instructions

1. Place pork shoulder in the slow cooker with fat side up

2. Season the pork evenly with salt

3. Pour Worcestershire sauce over the pork

4. Cover the slow cooker with the lid

5. Cook on low for about 24 hours without adding liquid

6. Remove the pork and shred it with two forks

7. Mix shredded pork with cooking juices before serving

Notes

Bone in pork shoulder gives the best flavor and tenderness

Do not add extra liquid because the pork releases natural juices

Optional liquid smoke can add a mild smoky flavor
