Description
Crispy Honey Lemon Pepper Wings baked until golden and tossed in a sticky sweet and tangy honey lemon glaze.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
3 tablespoons potato starch
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Oil spray
1/2 cup honey
Zest of 1 lemon
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon butter
1–2 teaspoons ground pepper
1 pinch salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450°F and pat wings dry.
2. Toss wings with starch, baking powder, and spices.
3. Arrange on lined sheet and spray lightly with oil.
4. Bake at 425°F for 35 to 40 minutes, flipping halfway.
5. Simmer honey, lemon juice, zest, garlic, butter, salt, and pepper.
6. Toss baked wings in warm sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness use a wire rack.
Serve immediately after saucing.
Air fry at 400°F for 18 to 22 minutes if preferred.
