Description

Sweet, tangy, and savory, this Orange Glazed Salmon recipe comes together in under 30 minutes using fresh orange juice, garlic, and honey. It’s quick, flavorful, and perfect for a weeknight dinner or elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

1/2 cup fresh orange juice

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons dry white wine

23 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 2 teaspoons water

1 teaspoon rosemary or thyme (optional)

1 orange, sliced into rounds

Instructions

1. Blot salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear salmon fillets for 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. Lower heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

4. Add orange juice, chicken broth, and wine. Stir and bring to a boil.

5. Simmer until liquid reduces by half.

6. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until slightly thickened.

7. Add honey, taste and adjust seasoning. Add optional herbs if using.

8. Place orange slices in the pan and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

9. Return salmon to the pan, spoon glaze over, and simmer for 1–2 minutes until heated through.

10. Serve with extra glaze and orange slices.

Notes

For a spicier twist, add a pinch of chili flakes.

Use maple syrup instead of honey for deeper sweetness.

Substitute white wine with apple cider vinegar for an alcohol-free version.

Bake at 400°F or air fry at 375°F for a no-stovetop method.
