Description
Sloppy Joe Potato Skillet is a flavorful one-pan dinner made with crispy potatoes, seasoned ground beef, and melted cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
5 small to medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Paprika to taste
1 pound ground beef
1 chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 to 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 can 8 ounces tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Peel and cube potatoes, then toss with oil and seasonings.
2. Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, shaking occasionally.
3. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet.
4. Add seasonings and sauces, then simmer until thick.
5. Gently combine crispy potatoes with beef mixture.
6. Top with cheddar cheese and broil 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Serve warm.
Notes
Cook potatoes separately to preserve crisp texture.
Sharp cheddar enhances flavor.
Ground turkey may replace ground beef.
Roast potatoes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit if not using an air fryer.
