Description
Juicy chicken slow cooked in Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce for a tender and flavorful meal. Great for sandwiches, bowls, or easy family dinners.
Ingredients
4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
2 cups Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup water or chicken broth optional
Instructions
1. Place chicken in the slow cooker in an even layer.
2. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper over the chicken.
3. Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken and coat evenly.
4. Add water or broth if desired for extra sauce.
5. Cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours or High for 3 to 4 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
6. Shred chicken if desired and mix back into the sauce before serving.
Notes
Use thighs for richer flavor.
Always thaw chicken before cooking.
Store leftovers refrigerated up to four days.
