Crispy tuna melt patties with a cheesy center. These skillet-cooked patties are made in under 20 minutes using simple ingredients, making them a go-to option for quick lunches and dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained

½ cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup mayonnaise

1 egg

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

1 tablespoon butter for pan

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix tuna, breadcrumbs, mayo, egg, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Add cheddar and green onions. Mix gently.

3. Shape mixture into 4-5 patties.

4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

5. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.

6. Optionally, top with cheese and broil for 1 minute.

7. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

Panko breadcrumbs create extra crunch.

Chill patties before cooking to help them hold their shape.

Try mozzarella or Swiss for different cheese flavors.
