Description

A warm and nourishing drink made with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and non-dairy milk. Perfect for relaxation and wellness.


Ingredients

Scale

2 ½ cups unsweetened full fat almond or coconut milk

1 stick cinnamon or 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

2 inches fresh turmeric or 1 ½ tsp ground turmeric

1 inch fresh ginger or ½ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp coconut oil

Pinch black pepper

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey


Instructions

1. Add almond or coconut milk to a saucepan.

2. Include cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and black pepper.

3. Warm over medium heat without boiling, stir occasionally.

4. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until flavors are infused.

5. Remove from heat and stir in sweetener.

6. Strain if needed and pour into mugs.

Notes

Oat or cashew milk can be used instead of almond or coconut.

Golden paste may replace individual spices for convenience.
