Description

These Baked Brie Bites combine buttery crescent dough, creamy Brie cheese, whole berry cranberry sauce, and fresh rosemary. They make an easy, elegant appetizer for holidays, parties, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

All-purpose flour, for dusting

1 package (8 ounces) crescent dough sheet or crescent rolls

1 wheel (8 ounces) Brie cheese

1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce

Fresh rosemary sprigs

Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly coat a 24-cup mini muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Dust a clean countertop or cutting board with a small amount of all-purpose flour.

3. Roll the crescent dough into one smooth sheet. When using crescent rolls, press the seams together firmly.

4. Cut the dough into 24 equal squares.

5. Press one dough square gently into each mini muffin cup.

6. Cut the chilled Brie cheese into 24 small pieces.

7. Place one piece of Brie inside each dough cup.

8. Spoon whole berry cranberry sauce over the Brie.

9. Add a small piece of fresh rosemary to each bite.

10. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the pastry turns lightly golden.

11. Cool for a few minutes, then serve the Baked Brie Bites warm.

Notes

Keep the Brie chilled until you are ready to cut it.

Use whole berry cranberry sauce for the best flavor and texture.

Do not overfill the pastry cups because the cheese may spill over.

Replace cranberry sauce with fig preserves, raspberry jam, apricot preserves, pepper jelly, or apple butter.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat the bites in a 325°F oven for 5 to 8 minutes.
