Description
A simple and healthy roasted broccoli side dish bursting with flavor. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any holiday table, ready in just 35 minutes with olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan.
Ingredients
2 lbs broccoli florets
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash and dry broccoli completely to remove all moisture.
3. Toss broccoli with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
4. Spread the florets in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
5. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and crisp.
6. Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese immediately over hot broccoli.
7. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Use fresh broccoli for best texture.
If using frozen broccoli, thaw and dry thoroughly before roasting.
To make it vegan, skip Parmesan or use nutritional yeast.
Add lemon juice or red pepper flakes for an extra kick.
