Ingredients
2 pounds sweet potatoes (about 4 medium, 4 cups mashed)
½ cup whole milk (120 ml)
2 large eggs
½ cup granulated sugar (100 grams)
¼ cup salted butter, melted (28 grams)
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar (220 grams)
½ cup all-purpose flour (65 grams)
1 cup chopped pecans (120 grams)
½ cup salted butter, softened (56 grams)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Scrub and prick sweet potatoes with a fork. Bake for 40–50 minutes until tender.
2. Cool slightly, peel, and reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
3. Mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Add milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth.
4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
5. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, and pecans. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
6. Sprinkle topping evenly over the sweet potatoes.
7. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and set. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Ensure sweet potatoes are fully cooked for the best texture.
For added sweetness, add mini marshmallows under the streusel.
