Description
Tender smoked St Louis ribs seasoned with BBQ rub and slowly cooked with honey, beer, and smoky barbecue flavor.
Ingredients
3 racks St Louis style ribs
1/4 cup BBQ seasoning
12 ounces beer
3 tbsp honey
1/3 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp beer
Instructions
1. Preheat smoker to 275 degrees F
2. Remove membrane from ribs
3. Season ribs generously with BBQ rub
4. Smoke ribs for 3 hours
5. Prepare foil packets with beer and honey
6. Wrap ribs tightly in foil
7. Continue smoking for 2.5 hours
8. Prepare BBQ beer sauce
9. Brush sauce over ribs
10. Smoke uncovered for 15 minutes
11. Rest briefly before serving
Notes
Use hickory pellets for stronger smoky flavor
Seal foil tightly to lock in moisture
Cook ribs until internal temperature reaches 185 to 190 degrees F
